This project was an attempt to make a simple level using the Skyrim Creation Kit. The level exists in an empty area of Skyrim, nestled into the mountains on the map border. I wanted to create this level with the theme of a dangerous swamp, inspired by levels like the Swamp of Sorrows from World of Warcraft and the murky bottom of Blighttown in Dark Souls.

I started the level with the concept of fighting chaurus in knee-deep water. With fallen trees scattered about and a swampy mist covering the water, the environment should feel unsafe and wild. Reaching higher ground, they come upon a Hagraven encampment, with none to be seen. However, after exploring and clearing the pit of chaurus nearby, the player will find the lone Hagraven has come out of hiding, waiting to ambush them.
